Pray for Sean

Okay, Okay, we are still here! Please follow our friends: www.jeremyandangie.com. We are in Community Group together. Baby Sean is the last baby that I had the privilege of delivering (rather quickly I might add!) here in Jackson. Unfortunately, he had a heart condition not diagnosed until saturday and is not at Vanderbilt. We know he is well taken care of!

We are packing! Our 4-truck entourage depart Saturday, September 5th and will arrive in naples, FL, on Sunday.

The next chapter in our adventure begins....photos to follow!

Painting Parties!

Today was the second Saturday we have had some major help on the new house from some of our college students. It is amazing how much painting can get done in just a few hours when you have multiple people working. We had a yummy dinner tonight after the work was done (L to R: Lydia, Alaina, Charley & Katelyn) Thanks, ladies!! Below are photos from 2 weeks ago--Katelyn, Jordan & Alaina.

Genetic Traits

Zachary is playing air guitar for us. Do you see the tongue? It seems there is a Miller gene such that, when the boys in the Miller family are really concentrating on something, they stick their tongue out. Daddy & Gramps do it and now Zach does, too!

Bedtime!

Is Timothy really almost 3 months old? Seems I have a lot of catching up to do! He is weighing in at over 14 pounds making me, his milk supplier, a very proud mama! He giggles and smiles all the time (at least when he isn't crying). We are all sleeping through the night and have done so for most of the past 3 weeks. Sleep is NOT overrated! Timothy's biggest event this week is he moved into his own room, upstairs. He had been in the pack-n-play in our bedroom but it was time to make the move. We set up the crib a week ago, gave away the mattress set that had been in that room on Saturday, moved the rest of his furniture up on Sunday and, since Sunday night, he has slept there. He sleeps from about 10pm until 5am. This top photo Zachary took last night (2/4/09). I was sitting on the floor of Timothy's nursery. Zach surrounded Timothy with stuffed animals and took our photo. Zach is becoming quite the photographer as you can see all of me! The bottom photo is Timothy asleep in his crib on February 1st, the first night in his crib. I will get more photos up soon!

We all Need Friends

We are so thankful for our Chicago friends, Brian & Tricia, that have moved to Jackson! Our boys LOVE to play together and, since neither of us have family in town, we try to trade nights of babysitting whenever we can. This was our night and their boys came to our house. It was a Pajama Party and can you tell they had fun? Trent (approaching 3) loves baby Timothy and I love how he says his name. It is long and drawn out, "Tim-O-thyyy". "where is baby Tim-O-thyyy?". Trent helped me give Timothy a bath while the big guys ran trucks all over the living room. When it was time for bed, we all piled into what would be Timothy's room on the bed that was leaving the next morning for books--and a few photos.

I Can Hit My Rattle!

Justin's cousin sent us these rattles. Timothy decided to reach out for them and he hit one! He made himself giggle, don't you love that smile?? Yes, new parents get really excited about the little things.

Chubby & Clean

Daddy took good care to wash all of my body parts. I am so chubby right now, isn't it adorable?

A Great Big Brother

Zachary loves his little brother. Really, he does. We have had to teach Zachary a lot of things in the past four years, but we have not had to teach him LOVE. Every morning when Timothy wakes up, Zach is the first to want to give him hugs & kisses. Before Zach leaves for school, he HAS to give Timothy a hug & a kiss. The same happens when he gets home from school and before bed. He loves to hold him--it is never for very long but he still wants to hold him. When we aren't looking, Zachary will go over and sing to Timothy and do other things like help him clap his hands. Zach has even shared his special night-night blanket with his brother...now THAT is love!
