Sharing Your Grief

Dear A & B,

We grieve with you and for you in the loss of your four precious children (September 10, 2007). Your struggle to become parents has taken so long. We rejoiced when we learned of your pregnancy. We feared the unknown yet PRAYED for you and for each one of them. Then, they (three girls and a boy) were here for just a moment.

We have met others that have lost children. Somehow we hoped that our pain and grief was "enough" so that our dearest friends would never have to endure similar. Why, why is it not so? We wish we could take this cup from you. Instead, we can only say that we are a few months ahead of you on this journey.

We love you. We are here when you want to....cry.
